Not long after his undergraduate graduation, Dennis Martire began a lifelong career dedicated to improved working conditions and rights for employees. He graduated in 1986 from West Virginia Wesleyan College with a B.S. in government and worked within his greater community. Four years later, in 1990, he began work with the Laborers’ International Union of North America -- an organization to which Martire has remained devoted since starting there more than 30 years ago. Dennis Martire applied his education to the role and increasingly responsible positions across the next three decades. He’s not only committed locally to his union chapter in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, #1058, but he’s also an esteemed leader with LIUNA. Since 2002, he’s acted as LIUNA’s regional manager and vice president plus dedicated other time to various committees and advisory boards. Comments are closed.
